This tribute to the First Lady of Song is led by Detroit’s own veteran jazz vocalist Naima Shambourger. This tribute will cover all aspects of Ella’s career from her early days in Harlem to her trademark scat singing days in the 1970s and 80s. For this performance Naima will be joined by Mike Jellick (piano), Marion Hayden (bass) and Sean Dobbins (drums).
