The word 'byblos' originates from the Greek language
and means 'paper' or 'papyrus'. Byblos is also the
name of an ancient city in Lebanon.

The city of Byblos is located on the Mediterranean Sea, in the lee of Mount Lebanon, and has a moderate climate and beautiful scenery. For thousands of years, these important historical figures left their imprint on this fascinating city.
